Whether you've booked your first treatment, or someone has gifted you a voucher, I'm genuinely delighted you're coming in.

I know trying somewhere new can feel a little uncertain, so I've put this page together so you know exactly what to expect before you arrive. No surprises. Just great skin treatment and care and a really nice time out and treat for you.

 

 

Where to Find Me

121b Harbourview road. 

Look for 121 letterbox. The driveway to the right of that has a lovely studio roadside there with a carpark in front you are welcome to use. The entry is down the left side of the building.

 I share the studio with Ash Bailey -  Bodytalk so if you spot her sign first you are in the right place.

What to Wear

For your treatment it's easiest if:

  • You wear something loose and comfortable — you'll be lying down and I want you to feel completely relaxed from the moment you arrive.

  • Jewellery like necklaces and earrings are left at home, or I have a little tray ready for you to pop them in when you arrive

  • Hair - It’s likely the oils I use will transfer to your hair during your treatment so maybe dealy hair washing day until after your treatment. Don’t worry about tying it up as I'll take care of it once you're on the table.

  • Bring something warm to wear after as often following a treatment you can feel the cold because you have been inactive. 

That's honestly it. Come as you are. 🌿

 

 

What Happens When You Arrive

When you walk in, I'll welcome you and we'll have a chat about your treatment before we start. 

If it’s a skin treatment, I want to know what you're noticing, what's been bothering you, what you'd love to see change. This treatment is for you. We work as a team to get you, the skin you love!

This consultation is important to me because every treatment I do is tailored to your skin on that day. I don't have a one-size-fits-all treatment. I read your skin and work with what it actually needs.

I will give you privacy and a towel to cover up and you will need to remove upper clothing to bra or tops with straps that can be pulled down to the shoulders so I can treat the decolletage with your facial.  You will get comfortable on the table, and then the time is completely yours to relax. 

If it’s a massage treatment, let’s discuss the areas that need attention and work a plan to address your body needs with our time.

I am trained in Swedish relaxation massage. I do not have therapeutic training but I am very happy to work on areas of discomfort or with problems and will advise if further treatment or assessment is something that would be beneficial. I will always discuss areas we will massage before treatment. 

I will give you privacy and a towel and ask you to just leave underpants on and wrap yourself in the towel. You will get comfortable on the bed and lie under blankets so only the areas I massage will be exposed at the time I am massaging them. Then the time is yours to completely relax.

 

 

About the Products I Use

Everything I use on your skin during your treatment is from my own handcrafted range.  

Lisa Goodeve Natural Skincare. I formulated every single product myself, using 100% natural ingredients with no parabens, no synthetic fillers, and nothing I wouldn't put on my own skin.

You're welcome to have a browse through the range when you arrive — I keep everything on display and I love it when clients are curious.

A note on this, because I think it matters:

I will never put you in the awkward position of a hard sell. That's not how I work and it's not the kind of experience I want you to have. You're here for a treatment and that's my focus.

If during your treatment I notice something your skin would really benefit from, I'll mention it quietly at the end. Once. Because it's my job to notice these things and it would feel wrong not to share. But there is absolutely no pressure, ever.

A Little Bit About Me

I'm Lisa, and skin is genuinely all I've done for 30 years.

I'm an internationally qualified aesthetician which means I understand skin at a professional level. Not just how to make it feel nice for a day, but how to make it genuinely healthier over time.

I made my own skincare range because after working with skin for many years, I couldn't find products I trusted enough to use on my clients. 

So I made them myself. Every batch, by hand, right here in New Zealand.

When you come to me you're not getting a generic experience. You're getting 30 years of skin knowledge working specifically on your face and body needs with products I've staked my name on.
